Disconnect the Intake Manifold Temperature/MAP sensor from the negative battery terminal. On gasoline engines, disconnect the electrical connector and turn the sensor counterclockwise. For diesel engines, disconnect the electrical connector and remove the two mounting screws. Inspect the O-ring for damage. Installation is the reverse of removal.
